I don't think Rams are running pistol --- Pistol is RB behind the QB in shotgun. When Rams run shotgun the RB is offset.

I would call what they are running Ace or Solo .... a single RB with no fullback.

Maybe different people call it different things but "I-Formation" is QB under center then a FB then a RB in a line
