I am 59 and have rooted for the Rams for 49 years, starting with James Harris and John Cappelletti. Since then, I have never stopped loving the Rams through highs and lows.
I was born and grew up in Mexico City, which was (and still sadly is) mostly Cowboy land. The Ferragamo to Waddy TD vs Dallas in the Playoffs was pure joy and sweet for me. Was very proud of the Rams performance in their first SB vs Pittsburgh (it was sooo close, when no one gave them a shot before the game), and of course, will never forget Flipper Andersons record breaking game vs NO, and ED´s record breaking season. The Greatest Show on Turf brought what I had never seen: a purely dominating Rams offense and will love KW, MF, Ike, Torry and Ricky forever for bringing that joy to my life.
This new Rams generation is different, but I agree with many here. With all their inevitable mistakes, the current Mc Vay - Snead regime is the best we have had in several decades. There have been misfires, but what we are seeing this season with Puka, Avila, Young, and Turner are gigantic reasons for hope and can only be compared to the genius behind draft choices of people like Kupp. Like it has been said in this board, this might be Snead´s greatest draft ever without a 1st round choice.
Thank you for your post, and all the replies on the board. You just made my day!
