I made a reference to Justin Herbert because that dude hasn't been very clutch late in the season and his coach makes poor decisions. I could see him bounce around the league at some point as well, yet he has arm talent that not many have.
My comment is simply this guy would be a different animal at QB than we have seen on the Rams, if somehow McVay can get him to play a little more structured... and assuming he's still got it.
I point to Indy season because it showed he was still pretty mobile and accurate post ACL surgery. I know he had a thumb injury in Washington.
Also, I don't discount his working with Gruden in the offseason on both passing and playbook. McVay is a Gruden prot
