Because, watching highlights, this guy has more arm talent than Goff or Stafford.
Stafford has all the throws, Goff had limits, did not have all the throws.
But what neither of them have is the touch pass. Wentz has a stronger arm than both guys so when he needs to throw a 30 yard pass with some touch he can effortlessly.
Goff and Staffor both have to throw the that pass with less height on the ball and therefore less catchable and more interceptable. And neither seem to be great at the screen pass. (Again a touch pass). They both tend to jam it in there, and Stafford, as of late, throws it at their feet, smh.
I get it, Wentz also tries to do too much... I'm not claiming he will be better overall than Stafford, but..
Strictly saying with Wentz you are getting a bigger, stronger dude with more athletic ability than we have seen. More like a Justin Herbert.
And my question is, even if he is not the same QB as he was in Philly... is he at least the same QB as he was in Indy 2 years ago? Cuz the highlights look like the kind of QB teams are looking for these days. If McVay can clean up the hero/idiot complex.
