I agree with what you said. I think we see a GOOD infusion of talent next year. THAT will not be an issue. But I think McVay, Coaching wise, needs to expand things with an emphasis on punch mouth physicality. I thought we actually showed that SOME vs the Niners but got away from it. I want to see McVay use most of our Cap and Drafts and start at the LOS. Without that, does it really matter who QBs or the shut down Corner is?? Just once, I'd LOVE to see a three TE / two back set...........and STILL throw! McVay and the Rams have fooled or pushed around nobody in a long time.......Just my opinion.
We tried that punch mouth football yesterday and got punched in the mouth…the OL play yesterday was a joke, but than again, it is pretty easy to play the run when you have a 3rd string QB to contend with.
You know as good as anyone how important OL play is….we looked pretty good early in the year, but the injuries are starting to take their toll and they don’t quite look as good anymore…
Football is brutal game and is really a battle of attrition as it is of X and O’s
You can bet next year we spend money and more draft capital on that OL
We were down to QB3, two street free agents at RB and an OL that was less than 100% …. And the results were ugly af, not sure what any coach could have done with that yesterday
