Ya, I think we all know this team is lost without Stafford. Was the same with Goff when he was here. The last QB that stepped in and handled business when the lead went down was Marc Bulger, a lifetime ago. We've just never put much into the backup. Ever.
But I don't know what we have with Stafford. I debated that this line was nowhere near playoff caliber with another poster a few weeks ago, and guess what? No QB is succeeding behind this group. We've made subpar defenses look like super hero's.
So who knows what team comes back from the bye. The fire they had in September has clearly gone out, and it looks like the Coaching Staff has run out of ideas. The personnel decisions have been very suspect, the offensive system change never took place, and everyone knows what we're doing every play, or we come up with gadget plays, run by gadget players that get us nowhere. This team has no identity now, and I don't know that one off-season and one draft are going to fix it.
