The Super Bowl win is in the rear view mirror. IMO, he has done nothing special as a Coach since probably 2018. Outside of Kupp, he has used OTHER Coaches players (Fisher included) to win. We have seen strange things with his relationship with RBs. We have seen a LOT of "WTF" calls and strategies just this year alone. I'll NEVER figure out that Bengals game. He goes into this season with an aged and battered QB with a Rookie back up and a VERY VERY sub par back up. Ironically, I thought he Coached better last year with 12,435 injuries. I still think he is a decent Coach. But there is no doubt he is no longer shocking the NFL with anything and has indeed regressed.
I just want the Rams to have stability and not a team that is expensively RENTED for one season with a bill that lasts 3-5 years. Both of our lines have been drastically ignored. Physicality has been LAME AS HELL since McVay has been here. I think McVay will probably get the top QB on the board this Spring. In fact...Would not surprise me if some sorta trade is worked out for C.W. It will be L.A.'s Guy!! Sell a few tickets. And then we will see a young QB trying to get established with a half a$$ O line and ignored running game. McVay better realize.....As long as he keeps ignoring a SOLID LOS on both sides, we will continue to look up at the Niners and Eagles and Dallas too.
Even our Super Bowl run....Rams tossed all the chips on the table and went ALL in. And STILL, it was a VERY VERY close shave to win it.
