I think Williams can be the kind of players that draws eyes and people like an OBJ. The Rams desperately need a superstar - that is Williams
I had suspected that that was your point.

We got a long way to go here but its is clear the Rams without Stafford will be in range. Its not something I hoped for but I said just last week the Rams were a Stafford injury away from this moment
Well here we are
Although no one like it, anyone not wearing blue and sol-colored glasses KNEW that this was a very real possibility - this includes the organization.
Yes, here we are.
First thing's first...keep the status quo. If there's gonna be any mid-season trades, the Rams should be sellers UNLESS they're gonna take a low risk/high reward chance with a player like Chase Young.
Outside of that, need to consider all mid-season trade options where we can get at least a 1st Round pick back (this includes AD).
If healthy, we need to keep Stafford upright for the rest of the year. He'll need to be traded during the off-season for at least a 2nd rounder (thinking Minny, he they can't re-sign Cousins).

And ramBro... what are your thoughts on McVay. Hes very shaky right now IMO
McVay has continued to be himself (in terms of expectations). I believe that this is baked into the cake in terms of his performance. So I don't think the organization will entertain any notion of sacking him.
Additionally, he's proven that he can be a good coach
provided that he has very good talent on his roster. So, if the plan all along was to begin a significant talent upgrade for the 2024 season...then by all means, let's continue with the plan. It's still very much intact at this point.
