For reasons known only to Morris, Kendrick was preferred over both Tomlinson and Shelley. Now fate has forced him to choose another starter. Either will be an upgrade, imo.
Morris’ refusal to find an alternative for Hoecht is my only other gripe with him this season.
I’m hoping and praying that Morris gets that promotion to HC and Then McVay can choose his successor at DC, almost certainly an upgrade, AND pocket those two 3rds as comp picks.
That would be a win-win for all concerned.
