One thing that I notice a lot on this board is that people think you can just just take players like Mathis, Tomlinson, Durant, etc., and just line them up and have them start making plays. I mean, they were good at some small DII college, so they will be good in the NFL right?
Morris also eloquently describes what happened on the Cox touchdown as a result of a combination of a defensive lineman (was it Young?) failing to make a sack, a defensive backs not getting to the right spot on the field.
Sometimes you have to consider things from a holistic perspective to really understand what's happening.
