Agree that McVay can get pass happy at times when it seems it would serve the team better if we ran more.
Regarding this season, which seems to be the focus of your post, would we have won those games we lost if we had a more balanced attack? Hard to say...impossible really. But, the fact that we were in each of those games against powerhouse teams (maybe not Cincy) with a roster full of young, inexperienced first and second year players, tells me that McVay and the entire coaching staff is doing a great job coaching these guys up and preparing them to play.
Finally...how many other HCs out there have taken their teams to 2 Super Bowls in the last 6 years, winning one? I know you downplay those achievements and that's fine. We all have a right to our opinions. My opinion is I'm keeping McVay.
