He's showing to be a reliable LT and, paired with Avila, create a real, physical presence on the left side of their line. And the meter is still pointing up for AJ.
He is a RFA after this year, though, and assuming he continue to play well they'd need to tender him higher (2nd round tender ~$4.9M) to not lose him. Small price to pay for a solid LT and continuity on the OL. Then see where they are for 2025. Maybe he's a guy they invest in longterm at that point. Maybe not and a LT in the Draft becomes a priority.
