it's the "mobile" QBs who have shorter careers. We sure won't be hearing of Mahommes playing until he's 40. Just like we won't Wilson or Joe Burrow, or probably Josh Allen. Might be an exception among them, but I'd take a bet none of them playing at 40.
If the Rams keep Stafford upright, I suspect he's the Rams QB for at least 3 more years. Brady opened up a new paradigm proving that the brain plays a bigger role for a QB than him having the same arm strength as he did at 30.
I get what you're saying but you have to consider Stafford's history with concussions and the spinal injury he suffered just last season.
