Total agreement, 43. And he walked away angry (defiant?) because of getting penalized and tossed. He even motioned to the ref that his own facemask was grabbed as did McVay. I'm not sure how people thought he should act "professional" though. Should he have dropped to his knees in remorse and covered his face in shame?
.
It looked "defiant" to me but that's just my opinion.
Like he know he held that face mask a little too long. IMO, if he let's it go as he starts to fall and not drag the player down by it, he doesn't get tossed.
IMO, it was the "not letting go" while falling to the ground that made it look so bad.
"dropping to his knees in remorse and covered his face in shame" is a little over the top, but funny too! I know you were just being facetious.
Sometime when a player does something stupid they show a little emotion. Not fall on the ground saying "I'm Sorry!!!" lol, but maybe a head shake or maybe a look of regret on his face? lol
I'm not talking Marcus Peters type emotion, but somewhere in the middle! lol
Either way, regardless if he was "defiant" or not, it was a stupid thing to do. He could've really hurt that dude or even broke a finger of his own on the way down.
I am sure he was frustrated about the other guy grabbing his face mask. It should've been offsetting penalties.
It's over now and water under the bridge. I am sure he learned his lesson!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
