Ironic, isn’t it? After all those years of spending like a drunken sailor with both cap dollars and premium draft picks now the Rams are fiercely holding the line financially.

You don't want to spend what little cap space you have when you have a full season ahead of you. They won't rob Peter to pay Paul by restructuring contracts this year. You need to have some cap space available for in season transactions and to fill spots from injured players. Snead will be shopping the bargain bins for an edge but so far he can't find anything on worth a roster spot right now.
