Ironic, isn’t it? After all those years of spending like a drunken sailor with both cap dollars and premium draft picks now the Rams are fiercely holding the line financially.
They don't want to spend their money, this year. Next year several edge rushers could shake lose including Chase Young. Time to save today so you can spend tomorrow.

But I still want to be as competitive as possible this year. We may be one edge player away from a winning season and we do have some cap room for a modest acquisition.
