You are correct to jump off the edge.
We do have one of, if not the, least talented teams in the NFL. And absolutely no depth at any postion. Ok, maybe TE.
Meanwhile there are quite a few NFL teams stacked with talent and have depth.
So there is no reason to think there is even a way to win more than about 5 games.
However... the formula to do so is with a "decent" O'line and a bend-but-don't-break no-name defense, you can keep teams under 24-27 points and task McVay with scoring more with his scheme.
It ain't gonna be pretty, but that is the plan.
My guess is we're one weapon short on offense to win more than 5 games. They can double Kupp and we'll struggle to score 24-27.
Maybe just go ahead and jump.
