Was McVay pulling some new, and odd, preseason strategy that allowed yesterday to happen and the team is actually okey dokey? That seems unlikely to me.
Are the new guys, young as well, that bad? That seems unlikely to me as well.
I don't know that the Ram's are actually that bad at this point BUT.... I do think something is amiss on that team. - JamesJM
McVay was quoted as "just wanting to get through this game" at the beginning. It showed.
The team was never contending for the playoffs this season. I don't think it's going to be a train wreck unless the injury bug bites again, though. I think we'll win a few we shouldn't and blow some we shoulda won and end up somewhere around 500 if we're lucky.
I don't know why we're hanging on right now. Our stars are old, and I keep thinking we should have just blown it all up this year for a true reset next year. It's coming soon whether we like it or not, and the players we have sitting behind these stars ain't ready.
