Preseason games have been nothing but Reps for guys about to be cut. We'd probably have to go back to the early 80s to when they REALLY mattered for the main Players. Heck....In the 70s and into early 80s, it was nothing to see starters play into the second half. And there used to be SIX games for everyone. THEN, I could see charging for tickets. But even then, just a few bucks. These days, all seats should be $10 straight up...First come / first serve seating.
Of course that will never happen though. Eventually people will be paying to see them practice/scrimmage without any tackling at all once these meaningless games are eliminated and the season goes to 18 games.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
