And what is being put out there is at what cost? Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy watching Sports like all of us here. I'm just saying the product ... production is not what it used to be. Too much flash and ..IMO...dumbing down of things. Are "swoosh" sound effects really needed when graphics are shown? These days it is no longer based on the fans but making up for HUGE contracts....Why more n more, you have to stay up till Midnight on a MONDAY to watch NCAA Championships. All of us here are die hards and will watch but casual fans are crashing during some big games. A lot is put into Sports on TV but the outcome is weak.
Also...Look at the $$$$$$$ that is dished out to very average Announcers
