Also why this year's trade deadline shouldn't include any big Rams speculation. Unless it's an Austin Corbett-like deal (a 5th/6th rounder for a guy that would still be under contract in 2024). They're not parting with next year's 1st or 2nd (or 3rd) round picks this October.
they don't know what they need and are not in striking distance...before, when they went for the big deals they were
and Stafford final missing piece...it was a risk with a high reward.
Now, time to pay for that risk, window is closed, but open a new window in 2024 ... that's the thinking, IMO, the plan
