So the line that got pushed around by the Bills the first week, before the injuries, was ok? Sorry, this line was bad before the "unprecedented injuries" came into the equation. And considering how "fluid" our line currently is, I don't see how people can dispute where folks are ranking us right now. There are no facts to dispute any of this, just handfuls of conjecture.
the line was never great, not even with Whit it was never stellar.
I think things get blown out of all purporting sometimes. Fans see a bad game and freak.
Then even with the injuries ignore the positives. The line that got pushed around also
rushed run blocked for over 1000 yards after week 11--were 10th in the NFL and 11 in yards per carry and 8th in rushing touchdowns.
So, all I am suggesting in that one game MAY NOT be the only indicator that needs to be used.
maybe looking at the more recent games is ALSO something to look at
Much respect for you my friend, but it was much more than that one game that "made me freak" and you should at least be honest about that.
The line got pushed around by more teams than the Bills, and didn't start to look "good" until December, when we were out of the race and nobody took us seriously. It certainly wasn't because of the all-stars we had lined up. And if you think these players coming back from injury are going to push us back to mediocrity, I guess we'll just have to see. Trying to fix this alone through the draft and bringing injured players back is more hope than plan to me. I'd just like to not see Staff on his back or running for his life every other play like last year.
