When healthy he is as good as Aaron Rodgers, so this has to be for last year only
I don't care about comparing "stats". Put Aaron Rodgers in Detroit for his first 12 friggin years, THEN show me stats as an argument. lol
I don't need irrelevant "stats" for me to see Stafford is just as good or better than Rodgers!
Stafford has had a much harder road to travel than Rodgers did and I am pretty sure Rodgers wouldn't have won a ring in Detroit either and his stats would have been much worse.
IMO, the only reason Stafford doesn't get the respect he deserves is due to his time in Detroit. The very minute Stafford went to real team, he won a SB.
Rodgers has had WAAAY better teams around him and still only won one ring.
I'll take a healthy Stafford over Rodgers everytime.
I would say one more thing about Stafford vs. Rodgers. Yes, Stafford takes more chances and throws more picks, but there are many who think the reason Rodgers fails in the playoffs is precisely because he doesn't take chances. That while his regular season TD/INT ratio is extremely impressive, it's precisely because of his unwillingness to take chances in the playoffs that he fails to win the tough playoff games. I don't know if his playoff failures can be attributed to that or not, but it does seem logical.
