All these GM's lie to different degrees when it comes to dealing with the press and Stafford held firm but slowly leaked out what was happening or so it appears. He was probably a little pissed. GM's want to give player these huge contracts with a ton of the money to come later in the contract and then after a few years want to redo them. That is why guaranteed money is so important to the players. I don' blame Stafford or Demoff for taking their stands, I just don't like when this stuff is not kept in house.
