The Rams only kept 2 TEs on their initial 53 man roster last year - Higbee and Hopkins. They did keep 3 TEs on their practice squad, though - Carter, Pinkney, and Harris.
Considering who the Rams have in camp this year, though, it seems likely that the Rams will keep 3 or even 4. It probably depends on who the Rams think they can sneak thru waivers. They did keep 4 in 2021 - Higbee, Mundt, Hopkins, and Harris - so there's recent precedence for doing that.
Two things.
I think that McVay has now (finally) placed a higher emphasis on his TE room. Last year was a hard lesson learned.
Consequently, I think keeping 4 TE’s is a very likely possibility for 2023. And I’m looking forward to seeing how he uses them.
