Part of it may have been immaturity.

He was not doing the prep work needed ... at first.
Then according to his coach...we went from questioning
his commitment from Long to learning he loves football
and changed his tune to prepare better.

So, he's someone who had decent enough talent but
didn't get it done right away

So, no he has the opportunity to be better...but
sounds like he was not ready for NFL and then
learned he better shape up.

2023 is when he learn if he did or not
