Just listening to McVay and Snead, they plan on putting up the best team they can this year, but within certain parameters. And one of those parameters is to find out who among the young guys is worth developing and who isn't. And those who are worth are going to get lots of playing time even if a seasoned vet might give them a bit better overall performance for the year, due to their experience.
No way they tank. McVay will coach to win and the players will play to win. But development of a championship team for 2024 and after is the goal.
