After OTA’s and 2 mini-camp practices it’s looking like this:
Jackson, Boom
Avila, Anchrum
Shelton, Allen
Bruss, Anchrum
Hav, McClendon, Arcuri
Obviously, camp and scrimmages with Raiders and Broncos could shuffle that RG pecking order and maybe even LOT, but this is my best guess as of right now.
And they may not keep 10 on the 53 which would send McClendon or Arcuri to practice squad.
Anyway, I love that above OL for both protecting Stafford and opening running lanes for our trio of RB’s. Coach Wendy is impressing me.
Offense will NOT be a problem for Rams in 2023.
Always love your optimism, 43.
I have no idea how this line will perform, and I see more questions than answers. The gell factor is huge. These guys have never lined up as a squad before. Two of them are rookies (this will basically be Bruss's rookie year). Some of them played well in spurts, but there was no consistency there, and at times they got completely man handled or spun in circles with stunts.
Hopefully they can gell.
Hopefully, our new Coach has a positive influence.
But a lot of what we feel about this group is just that- hope. And I know you got a little miffed at the PFF ranking the other day, but they pretty much nailed it. Havs is about the only consistent player on that unit, and he's not exactly all-pro.
To many unknowns to be anywhere near close to warm and fuzzy on our line. We'll see soon.
