He's cemented as a Rams all-time great. Of course. His 1999-2001 stretch is unparalleled in Rams' team history.
But... he did start more games (63 vs. 57, including postseason) and throw 250+ more passes as a Cardinal than as a Ram.
Yes, he went to the SB with the Cards and played well towards the end of his career there but it was nothing close to what he accomplished in Stl as a Ram.
In fact, wasn't it because of KW's INT in the redzone that was returned 100 yards for a score by the DL who intercepted it, a big reason they lost that SB?
That's what highlight is always shown when they show the highlights of the Cards/Steelers SB.
When they show the Rams/Titans his highlight is the throw to Bruce late in the game.
It doesn't matter IMO how long he played with another team if his biggest success was not with that team.
Here is a link to a Google search for Kurt Warner Highlights. Check and see what comes up FIRST and the most. It's KW with the Rams not Arizona.
KW highlights search on GoogleWhether Kurt agrees with it or not, his identity will always be as a Ram based on the GSOT days.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
