Probably my favorite Ram player of all time...he was special and was a once in a lifetime type of story.
His was the ONLY Stl Jersey I ever purchased. Such a classy guy.
He also seems very forgiving too which makes me wonder why he has trouble forgiving the Rams. It's just so "out of character" for Kurt to hold a grudge this long.
He must've been hurt very deeply by Martz and the Rams to carry this much resentment for so long. I kinda feel bad for him in a way.
Let's be honest, the Cardinals aren't exactly the BEST organization out there but he sure is loyal to them.
this "grudge" is some sort of myth created in your own mind my friend....just cuz he still has love for his former team in AZ doesn't mean he still doesn't have a place in his heart for the Rams org and their fans and all his former teammates... He has worn Rams colored suits many times on big occasions on NFL Network to rep the Rams and always talks glowingly of his GSOT days.
He has admited in 2019 he feels more connected to the Cardinals only becuse he ended his career there and still has connections to the front office and he still lives there....It makes sense and don't begrudge him for that.
“I would probably say a Cardinal. As strange as that is with as much success and maybe the best years of my career being with the Rams, but I think a lot of it has to do with just where I ended,” he said. “The fact that I ended with the Cardinals, I’m still more connected with the team and the front office and stuff there. I still live in Arizona. Hard to say because I love both organizations and both of them were about equal for my career. I would probably say a little bit more with the Cardinals.”
