OTAs don't mean a whole lot, though it's better to see him showing well than not. But a guy like Tutu should light up the defense in 7 on 7 and no pads. So at the very least I'm going to wait on good camp reports and even then we've had a small guy look "all camp" then not do a thing in the season (Tavon).
But all that logic stuff aside... I have a feeling Jefferson and Atwell both are primed for good seasons. We really need both those guys if we're gonna be a threat to do anything, even just to challenge for a wildcard we're probably gonna need a top offense because the defense is young and retooling.
Agree being a star in OTA doesn't mean to much and yes last year they talked him up all off season. But having a guy break out in his 3rd year is not unusual. Last year Tutu finally go to play and played well at the end of the season. I think that showed Tutu and the Rams that he can play in this league. At a minimum from the report we can glean that Tutu showed up at OTA ready to play and he knows what he is doing. Between his confidence and that of the coaches he should get a lot of snaps this year.
I expect him to have a really good year and have at least 10 explosive plays during the season. I could see him getting 50% of the offensive snaps with Skow getting the rest of the WR3 plus WR4 snaps. Puka may force his way into the mix but will probably have to excel on special teams to be active at least early on.
