if it's not the players playing up to ability and the coaches going through the motions. The players they got rid of don't just set them up for 2024, it SHOULD set the foundation going forward for the next 5-10 years. Provided they choose the right picks and have the right staff in place....There is no way they decided to get rid of all the vets, with the plan to get a certain QB in 2024, just can't think they are that stupid......they did what they did because they had to do...
They played the game that no else did from 2017 to 2021......Now IMO they are getting on another train and trying to keep a better cap issue going forward.
This team IMO will go as far as the staff sets them up, IMO the guys they picked are talented, but they need to make the next step, and it's a lot of them to boot......The new coaches will have to be on adrenaline feeds 24/7, they do that and I think they will be a team not so easy penciled in as a "tank job" excuse.
