Tanking is not only unsportsmanlike but a detriment to the sport and every team in a respective league. It can work in the NBA where one player can be a huge difference maker but not in a sport like football. And exactly how do you convince grown professional men to negatively impact their own career for the sake of a possible team draft pick in the future? It's a half-step above "fixing" a game for profit.
like I said, it will never happen with a guy like McVay and Stan, but we've all seen teams that haven't exactly wanted to win when a generational player might be available in the draft...
we all remeber the "suck for Luck" year... The Jets blew their shot at a Trevor Lawrence with a meaningless win against our Rams at the end of the year that I bet the team and most fans would like to have that back.
If you're gonna be good, be good...deep palyoff run.
if you're gonna be bad, be bad....lock up that top pick
worst thing we could be next year is mediocre
as a season ticket holder who actually goes to every game I want them to win them all, cuz it absolutley sucks leaving with a loss
but if we're gonna go 7-10, I'd rather they just go 3-14 and take the beating if it meant we could lock up a QB like CW for the next decade
