I got more out of it then you did, Cromwell. I just hunger for any info this time of the year, so maybe I'm just looking for ANY content worth consuming.
She added:
- with so many draft picks and UDFAs, they had to hire a fullsize bus to take players to Cal Lutheran this year (Previously they used a 14 seat shuttle)
- again with so many rookies, they've had to go to back to the fundamentals in a big way, including measuring the time it takes for special teams p;layers to get lined up from the sidelines to the QBs taking full reps (in years past they just talked about it). She called this getting "down-to-the-studs, because missing a step in the development process, for any of their dozens of rookies, might mean never recovering."
Me: I found this enlightening, and welcome, to hear, as I've always been a stickler for fundamentals, whether it's blocking, tackling, or just doing things (the way the pros do).
In addition, Puka got supportive quotes from Stafford, Van (and hands on instruction from McVay). So if he can just stay healthy....
They are taking it easy with Bruss (who is practicing) and Noteboom (who is not).
Side notes - positives on picks by CB Richard LeCounte and Fuller, as well as a PBU by CB Cameron McCutcheon. Kobie Turner looks bigger than advertised while Hoecht looks like he lost a few pounds.
