Looking at weights is not best way to judge.

For one, Hoecht isn't going to weight 310 this year. Now that he's going
to play OLBer, he's going to lose weight because in Fangio scheme
he has to cover sometimes. Cannot just rush.

Other point...Hampton didn't impress on film, to me anyway. Not as a year 1 starter in NFL
Young did, though.

Young and Hoecht would be my guess as starters.
The others will be rotational.

Things can always change, maybe Hoecht was a flash in the pan...we have to wait.
He's one starter than will play in preseason...he needs the reps.

But his source of information is wrong "I’ve seen Hoecht listed among “edge rushers” and even “outside linebackers” and yet the team’s website lists him as a 310 lb defensive tackle so that’s as clear as it can get."

Rams depth charts on website often wrong, last year they were not even the same as the ones they put out in weekly releases.
They were close but not exactly. Bottom line is they don't always update and misinformation goes out.

Most people here know Hoecht was moved and did well. Why doesn't this guy know it?
