In a perfect world I'd like to see them move back 6-12 spots, end up with 5 picks in the top 120.
But guys like Porter, Branch, Mayer and Hooker (I don't like Levis at all) have to give them pause. The first 3 are legit top-25 prospects and any would fill position needs. Hooker, I think, could even ultimately be the best QB from this class, if not the 2nd best. I think he has great makeup, maturity, skills, accuracy, etc.
But if they take one they wait another 33 slots to select again. A lot of talent will come off the board. But then at 69 and 77 still some top 50-60 prospects? Likely some.
But also positions like TE are deep in this Draft, so... could moving back and ending up with LaPorta or Kraft later be the better option?
Very tough call. Snead has said he learned the lesson from 2012 (missing out on Bobby Wagner and Lavonte David after trading back once too much) to take no-brainer guys in the 2nd round. We're about to see if he has.
Depending on who wants to come up and get one or both of the QBs and what Pittsburgh does at 32 they could really have some great options. I think they will be in position to not have to compromise on compensation in a trade back and take less. They could have the leverage.
