I do not recall a year with so many possibilities of a pick. QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, Edge, CB all viable options.
And as you spell out there are some elites left but seems right on the border of "elite" Porter, Branch, Levis, Hooker, Hyatt or Mayer.
So we WILL get one of them, the only one I don't like based on size is Mayer, short, short arms . . .not all that fast . . .but
you guys like him . . . I watch highlights this morning but I've had problem with college because of competition, see too many
great college players not make it - - but that's different issue.

If Rams do NOT was a QB or they think these guys are not "the guy" it will be interesting to see if they do trade down of Porter, Branch

So, IMO, if they want a QB and one is there...take him at 36. If one of the elites is there. Take him at 36
If not, I agree with you. Drop and get a 4th, and get exact same quality at 45ish and extra pick.
