L.A.Rams
For a while, Andrews looked great to me. I don't recall what happened. Must have been an injury. But he appeared initially to be one of the Rams best LBers of the past 50 years.
And he was good, just saying Brudzinski > Andrews. Bigger, stronger, just as fast, all those things.
Brudzinski worked out with Jack Youngblood on the weights, worked on quick-twitch stuff . . . Andrews
and Mel Owens were good, solid...IMO, but Brudzinski was a cut above them . . .
So, I am not saying Andrews was trash, by any means...
In 1984 he blew a knew, tried to come back in 1985 and knee would not respond...had to quit.
And Wilcher took his place and did well, and I think Wilcher was very good, too.
None of these guys were All-pros, Bru and Wilcher included, but on scale of 10
with someone like an LT was a "10" Brudzinski and Wilcher were maybe 7s and Andrews and Owens were 6s
something like that---that is how I see it...anyway, you could see if differently
But this is one where it is in the eye of the beholder---
