Rams43
Let’s see…
Rams have a history of treating their players very well in terms of contracts and trade destinations and extensions, etc.
Ramsey has a history of forcing trades up to and including a fake injury with Jags until traded when the injury magically disappeared.
Who are YOU gonna tend to believe here?
The Rams still very very cool with Ramsey by letting him go where he wanted. It sounds like, at least according to Ramsey, he didn't want to leave and would've taken less money to stay. According to Ramsey, there were 2 people that wanted to him gone so they can go in another direction.
Who were those 2 people and why wouldn't they want to work with Rams on a restructure?
Also, I am well aware of Ramsey's Brinks truck and fake injuries antics but IMO, he has been a class act here in L.A. with no DIVA like outbursts at all.
I have no reason to NOT believe Ramsey on this one 43.
We’ll never know for sure, dude.
Several things.
First, Ramsey never said that he would take less money. He claimed that he was willing to restructure. Those are 2 very different things. And a restructure would only kick the cap problem down the road which is the exact opposite of what Rams wanted to do.
The 2 people that wanted him gone? Who other than McVay and Snead could it possibly be? Ramsey’s salary was standing right in the way of pursuing their ‘new’ offseason strategy. They could love the player but hate the salary. Both things could be simultaneously true.
We can each believe what we want. That’s why they have horse races. But in light of Rams’ history of player contracts record vs Ramsey’s history of contract negotiation record I have to say that I tend to give more credence to Rams version. Ramsey’s 2 contract negotiations have been, shall we say, a bit ‘controversial’ while Rams have an outstanding reputation with these things with players and agents alike.
Obviously, we can agree to disagree on this one.
Sorry, after being called a hater so many times, I think I caught that Narcissistic Personality Disorder that was going around!
Agreed to Disagree my friend. I was only speculating anyway.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
