that the article you just wrote may be the worst article in the history of the internet and you should consider writing manuals for dishwashers instead.
So, if read this correctly, ignore college production in favor of workout warriors from the combine, and maybe their pro day? Wow, that's just insane logic. The combine has its place, and certain athletic tests can predict future success. Which test is determined by the position. 10 yard split is a good one. Same with 3 cone and short shuttle. But to use a RAS score over 3 to 4 years of college tape is beyond dumb and just plain crazy.
And seriously, does this guy follow the Rams? Because if he did, he would know the Rams are big analytics guys and use alot of performance data collected during games that now most stadiums come equipped for collecting.
But sure, let's draft Blake Freeland over O'Cyrus Torrance because he's faster in the 40. 1. OL don't ever need to run 40 yards and 2. They are in pajamas. Not pads and helmets.
I actually wish the combine would make guys run the position drills in full pads and helmets.
And lastly, what do the Rams do if production meets RAS score? Do they skip over because college production is somehow not relevant?
Like I said, just dumb and I feel bad wasting 5 min of my life responding to stupidity, and giving him a click.
ok, rant over.
