AD made a TON of $$$ to play on a middle of the pack ranked defense for "most" of the year. I would be curious to know how we ranked after he left. I don't think we were much worse, were we?
I know we can't just get rid of AD due to the contract but it does seem like he will be over paid while playing on a bottom 10 defense this year. Do we really need AD to run a prevent defense and end up at the bottom of the league ranking wise in a rebuilding season where it might be his last anyway?
I don't want to restructure AD. Not even sure if we could. It will only push $$$ down the road and besides, who knows if AD will even want to play at all next year? The only way out I can think of is to have some other team take on most of that salary.
