I'm seeing from 93's angle.
Allen surprised before, and just a guess that he'll do it again. For sure, the cap savings could be the prompt, especially as noted for 4.4 million.
Rams have been somewhat nice about how they cut guys. Tossing them earlier in the process so they could find a spot elsewhere.
Allen has annoyed me to no end, but the the lack of cohesion might have been more glaring for him as things progressed.
Quick review of the Bills game sure didn't lay problems at the feed of #55. Yes, did give up a sack, but it was he and the guards. Issues with Boom, and the guards seem more evident, and Stafford just didn't seem to have the field awareness. This relate to no action in preseason games?
There's a obvious keying on Kupp, a lack of using other resources, and the absence of Woods vs the ROI in A. Robinson.
But my issue with Allen in the opener just isn't a keynote. I'd have to go back through the games played to evaluate, but the reset / realignment of the OL weighs to heavy in the upcoming season: It's just hard not to expect some serious additions from the college portal or 3rd tier free agency.
Allen can stay, but Bruss and whoever mans LG have to be manly.
Lowering expectations for this season is in progress.........dissonant,descending scale on screeching violin in a horror show comes to mind....
