It's because he traded them all for someone else's proven players. What better way to avoid drafting than to trade for established top notch players. No stress of wondering if they will pan out or having to develop them as someone else has done it....simply plug and play. And when you win, you look like you are a genius and everyone loves your mantra of "F*** Them Picks". Now, when the wheels fall off because you don't have the draft capital to bring in those studs from other teams, the bills come due, and the roster looks like a preseason team with no depth, it creates a S#!TSTORM. Which we are in the midst of now.

and also was the best team in the NFC for half a decade with two NFC Championships and a Super Bowl trophy....funny how nobody was crying about it during that stretch

had there not been a complete meltdown of our OL last year we would have been a playoff team...let's not just dismiss the absolute Chernobyl we had last year with injuries
