We call all question this and that and some of the criticisms
are right---Tutu/Humphrey and plenty of others.
But honestly, I had no problem with Greg Robinson being taken
where he was. I was, and they were, wrong ... he was a bust.
Who knew? I don't know anyone who projected him to be a bust
So--since 2017, when McVay arrived
6 Super Bowls, Rams in 2 of them. Eagles 2, 49ers 1, Bucs 1
That's 4 teams.
AFC
6 Super Bowls -also 4 teams
8 teams have made Super Bowls and Rams are one of those 8.
Rams have made some big-coaching hires over the years-my lifetime, though don't remember all
George Allen- great regular season, no Super Bowls
Chuck Knox-great regular season, no Super Bowls
Ray Malavasi (replacing George Allen part 2) - good start, fell apart, 1 Super Bowl loss
John Robinson-good, not great regular season, no Super Bowls
Chuck Knox part 2--mistake
Rick Brooks-mistake
Dick Vermeil-poor start, 1 Super Bowl win
Mike Martz-mixed--hugh part of Vermeil's Super Bowl win, got his own SB loss, but erratic
Scott Linehan-mistake
Spagsuolo-Mistake
Fisher-not mistake, but mediocre
McVay-great regular season, 2 SBs, 1 win
No one is perfect--McVay has earned trust. So, in this rebuild, retooling, reloading, whatever Jourdan calls the right "re" word
McVay and Snead as as good as anyone.
This brain trust has to be considered elite, one of 8 teams to SBs in his time, and one of 4 teams to multiple Super Bowls
I will give him a chance to "re"
