We've gone back to upside and injury risk types in trying to hit on guys in recent drafts and the results have not been good. I get where they were coming from in that approach but this year it has to be different. This draft we need production to be prioritized.

That freak that is still there on the board, the one who has huge upside but low production and/or a history of not being available... Just pass and take the guy who produced well for that grouping of players where we're sitting. With all those late round picks there will be a lot of those types to choose from among the RBs, iOL, safeties, etc. Get some guys in here who are polished and ready to play.

Also prioritize some physicality when you make line selections. They actually did that with Bruss but we need more of it. 9ers consistently have an edge on us due to this in our matchups and I am tired of it.
