Les realized he isn't the best at top in picks so he kind of fell into the F' them picks strategy by not going for the draft crap shoot; trading maybes for definitelys that works when you have a lot of cap space and a bad team not so much when you are on top trying to maintain.
You may be right.
I think after losing the SB to NE, Snead. McVay and Kroenke all agreed to go 'All In' and get the proven players they need to get over the top and it worked.
It almost didn't work though. We managed to only win each playoff game by 3 points. That's a pretty slim margin and we could have very easily lost any one of those games.
The opinions about "F-them picks" would be a little different now if that happened. Snead might not have a job after that if we would've lost in the Playoffs.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
