The problem is, would any team actually trade for Robinson and his pricey contract? Probably not. He has a cap hit of $18.05 million in 2023 and $18.55 million in 2024. After that, he becomes a free agent.

The cap hits mentioned are what the Rams will be hit with if they keep AR thru the end of his deal. But it is not what a team will see if they trade for him.

Referring to the screen shot below, taken from [overthecap.com] : The $2.8M listed under 'Prorated Bonus' for 2023 thru 2026 are the Rams' responsibility no matter what since they already paid him that bonus. (That's how the $11.2M in dead money is computed: $2.8M X 4.) The Rams cannot trade that responsibility away.

If he is traded before the 2023 roster bonus is due then his new team would be on the hook for his salaries and roster bonuses in 2022 and 2023, but nothing else.

In the interest of accuracy his new team would be saddled with cap hits of $15.25M in '22 and $15.75M in '23.
