The lack of "attention" this gets is amazing to me.

In this day of trying to "protect" the players any way possible and with the main focus on preventing concussions, I am blown away how the league let's them get away with some of the crap they pull.
IMO, the hit to the back of Stafford's head by Warner in the NFCCG last year was borderline "assault". I mean, what kind of "man" goes up to another player and hits him in the head FROM BEHIND like that and still looks himself in the mirror???
What if that hie caused Stafford to have a concussion? Would it have got more "attention" then? Is that what it's going to take?
I know football is a violent sport. It's why we all love it but there is a difference between "violence" within the rules and blatant attempts to injure people.
Because it has kinda been "swept under the rug" and given the old "nothing to see here" attention it will continue and maybe escalate too.
For 2 years in a row Ward has threatened another player in a public forum and carried one of his threats last year on OBJ.
How does this not get the attention that it deserves? The NFL cares more about if you are wearing the right color socks!
