I think Wendell is a very good OL coaching hire. Adding him plus getting guys healthy will pay dividends. But there's no question they need additional talent infused. And they are not going to go out and spend major free agent $$ there. They can't. They will be on the lookout for a veteran OL released elsewhere I'm sure.
But I do think it's essential to draft an OL- and it can't be just a 6th or 7th round pick. Somewhere between 36th and 69th overall (including after trading back from 36 or trading up from 69) they need to and should add to the OL.
And the gaping hole at TE2 has been talked about ad nauseum. Ever since Mundt left they have had no one behind Higbee who can be counted on as a blocker in two TE or short yardage sets. Sorry but Brycen Hopkins aint it...
