How much of their apparent 'outperformance' was due to the fact that these three are much better at using their legs to avoid sacks than Stafford?
How much is due to the likelihood that the defenses they faced were probably a bit more focused on the run game than any of the OL combinations earlier in the season? (With a weak run game early in the season and Stafford under center my guess is the D was in pass rush mode all game. But later in the year, when the Rams had a more effective run game and less of a threat in the pocket I'm thinking that at least on some downs the D was playing run first.)
